Looking through EPA’s Documerica Project and I spotted this familiar picture from the cover of Carbon Leaf’s ‘Indian Summer’. The picture is from June, 1972 and depicts a “Teenager in Second Ward, Chicano Neighborhood”.

This is pitiful.
The beginning of Elliott Smith’s song “Angeles” sounds a lot like a Carbon Leaf song. I’ve been listening to CL for 11 years, and I can’t place what song. Maybe something off of Echo, Echo?
Or maybe I’m imagining things.
Carbon Leaf - Grey Sky Eyes (BTS)
Could you welcome me in
With your veil that’s so thin
As the the mystery continues to grow?
You say you must realize
That my grey sky eyes
Neither rain, nor they glow… now you know
Crossing my fingers that mom will be willing to take me up to DC on the 16th. I’d be in heaven. :)
